Hello hello,
I have missed my fabulous readers and supporters. Last week I was extremely busy planning and putting the finishing touches on the curriculum for my teen girls 7 week empowerment series! There is still work to be done but it’s almost complete.

There were two girls, five mentors and one parent at the first session this past Saturday. I was disappointed by the number of girls that showed up for the event but that didn’t stop us from having a good time. One of the girls said that her favorite part of the session was that we had fun even though things didn’t turn out as we had expected.
We came up with our own definitions for self-esteem. The two that I remember best were the following: I am UNIQUE and I am beautiful because of my imperfections. My imperfections make me beautiful!
I learned that day to trust God’s plan and that some events are meant for just a few people. I also learned to be happy with small successes as well as big ones. It taught me a lesson that I will forever take with me. It’s not about the number of people that we help but that we are able to reach beyond ourselves to help others! It’s okay to start small, because God will bless your efforts.
From my heart to yours,
❤ Jasmine Marie
You’re right. Big things start small. We all have a starting point, but we shouldn’t stress too much about that. Our destination or goal is much greater and important that how me starter.
